The Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust (TIWLT) has recently purchased a key piece of property called Whip-poor-will Woods (WPWW) that will protect water quantity and quality from Charleston Lake Provincial Park to the 1000 Islands.
This property is also home to the local but at-risk bird, the Whip-poor-will.
